Joanna Hampton plays a pivotal role at OMNIPLAN, driving the design and execution of complex projects across master planning, places of worship, regional retail centers and commercial office buildings. Her collaborative approach and attention to detail drive the success of complex projects such as NorthPark Center, Santa Monica Place, and Highland Park Village, where she seamlessly integrates new design elements within existing urban contexts. Joanna is passionate about creating meaningful spaces that serve communities, with a focus on church projects including The Trails Church, Watermark Community Church, and Binnerri Church. Her work on One Legacy West, which achieved LEED Gold Certification, highlights her commitment to delivering thoughtful, sustainable design solutions that meet both client goals and community needs.
In addition to her work at OMNIPLAN, Joanna is a dedicated advocate for the Dallas community, leveraging her expertise in urban planning and preservation to influence meaningful change. As a city council-appointed plan commissioner and task force member, she has played a key role in shaping zoning policies that balance growth with historic preservation. Joanna actively collaborates with residents, community leaders, and nonprofits to navigate zoning regulations and champion initiatives that protect the city's architectural heritage. Her leadership in forming coalitions and developing urban design standards continues to set a precedent for future projects, ensuring Dallas remains a vibrant and connected city.
