With more than a decade of experience, Kristin has led projects across retail, commercial, higher education, and food & beverage markets. She started her career managing fast-paced retail rollouts before moving into tenant development and larger, more complex projects and programs. That experience shaped her ability to manage multiple teams, clients, consultants, schedules, and priorities without losing sight of the overall project goals.

Kristin has managed projects from early planning and programming through design, documentation, construction, and completion. She has led more than 100 projects for Compass across multiple states and has worked with clients ranging from national corporations and retailers to colleges and universities. She is particularly skilled at building strong teams, creating clear processes, and bringing consistency to large programs while still responding to the needs of each client, project, and place.

Kristin’s favorite part of her work is understanding how people use and experience spaces. She spends time getting to know the people behind a project — how they work, gather, learn, shop, eat, and connect — and uses those insights to help teams make better design decisions. Her experience across markets gives her a unique perspective on the ideas that translate between them, from the speed and efficiency of retail to the hospitality of food & beverage and the community-building role of higher education.
