How to provide for an underserved community?

Originally founded in 1975 to serve the Korean community, Binnerri Church had been meeting in their current location in Richardson since 1997. In order to better serve the Korean community in the North Texas area, they purchased a 12-acre piece of undeveloped land in McKinney and selected OMNIPLAN to establish a masterplan for the multi-phased build-out of the entire property. Phase 1 of that masterplan is anticipated to include a 500-seat worship center, children’s spaces, adult education center, fellowship gall, and administrative offices.

A Seamless Transition to a New Home

While undergoing a significant transition from an existing location to an undeveloped site, OMNIPLAN collaborated with Binnerri Church to provide a design that supports three unique worship styles: traditional, blended, contemporary. The approach involved understanding the unique needs and aspirations of the community, ensuring a smooth and purposeful relocation that maintains the essence of their spiritual identity while embracing the possibilities of a new beginning.
