A New Development in Allen, Texas

The Farm is a 135-acre mixed-use development located at the Sam Rayburn Tollway and Alma Drive. This property is being developed in collaboration with the Johnson Family and JaRyCo Development. The Johnson Family has been the owner of this land since 1964. It has been a North Texas working farm throughout its entire history. Bob Johnson Sr. and his wife Doris bought the property more than a half-century ago when Allen had less than 5,000 residents. The Johnsons used the property for raising cattle and growing wheat, corn and hay back when State Highway 121 was a two-lane blacktop road.

From our Family to Yours

The property served as a place for family and friends to gather, relax and enjoy the natural hiking trails through the woods as well as the Watters Creek area which has many beavers and other wildlife. Throughout the planning for this unique development, it was important not to lose this unique, back to nature feeling that this land has. Working closely with the Johnson Family and JaRyCo Development we made sure not to lose sight of the memory of this land.

As a family that has owned the property across four generations, we are excited to begin transferring this special family legacy to future generations in Allen

The Johnson Family

Maintaining a unique History

The development is designed to have many park areas including a 2½-acre lake with a boardwalk, more than two miles of hike-and-bike trails and a 16-acre greenbelt along Watters Creek. The Farm is also programmed to have offices, retail, restaurants, residential units and a hotel. We are embracing the natural beauty of the property to create an outdoor entertainment district. Our focus is on the green space and trail system which is exciting and unique to our residents and office workers.
