A popular high-end retail company, Neiman Marcus uses packaging required for their business as advertising. In the 1980s, OMNIPLAN Architects was commissioned to update their 20-year-old packaging designs to reflect current fashion trends. The design of a geometric pattern of white squares on a brown field was selected. Neiman Marcus adopted the design for numerous other merchandising promotions, as well.
