We are hiring
Project Architect
At OMNIPLAN, Project Architects don’t just document projects - they help shape them.
We’re looking for a Project Architect (8+ years experience) who brings equal parts design intuition, technical rigor, and leadership to the table. Founded in 1956, Omniplan is an award-winning firm with a deep bench of long-standing clients and a diverse portfolio spanning retail, mixed-use, office, worship, and higher education work. Our culture is collaborative, candid, and grounded in the belief that great projects come from strong teams who care deeply about both ideas and execution.
This role is for an architect who enjoys owning the middle of the project - where vision meets reality - and who takes pride in turning strong concepts into beautifully resolved buildings.
What You’ll Do
- Carry projects from early design through construction, ensuring design intent remains intact at every step
- Lead construction document production with clarity, precision, and a strong technical point of view
- Coordinate consultants, synthesize input, and keep teams aligned
- Collaborate directly with clients and help guide decisions with confidence
- Participate in construction administration, solving problems as they arise in the field
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to a culture of shared knowledge and high standards
What You Bring
- 8+ years of professional architectural experience
- A professional degree in architecture (B.Arch or equivalent)
- A strong technical foundation and fluency in construction documentation
- The ability to move seamlessly between big-picture thinking and detailed problem-solving
- Clear communication, good judgment, and a collaborative mindset
- Advanced, hands-on expertise in Revit, with the ability to lead and maintain complex models from schematic design through construction
- Architectural licensure preferred, but not required
Project Coordinator
At OMNIPLAN, Project Coordinators are essential contributors to the success of our projects - and future Project Architects in the making.
We are seeking a Project Coordinator with 3–5 years of professional experience to join our collaborative studio. This role is ideal for an early-career architect who is technically strong, eager to take ownership, and ready to deepen their experience across all phases of practice. You’ll work closely with Project Architects and Project Managers, contributing meaningfully to project delivery while building the skills and judgment that lead to long-term growth.
Our work spans retail, mixed-use, office, worship, and higher education, and we value team members who are curious, engaged, and invested in doing the work well. As a mid-size firm, we aren’t organized by studios, exposing all of our team members to a wide array of project types.
What You’ll Do
- Support projects through all phases, from design development through construction
- Contribute to the production of coordinated construction documents
- Work within Revit models, maintaining accuracy, consistency, and organization
- Assist with consultant coordination and interdisciplinary integration
- Participate in client meetings, internal reviews, and design discussions
- Support construction administration tasks, including RFIs and submittals
- Collaborate closely with Project Architects, learning both technical and project leadership skills
What You Bring
- 3–5 years of professional architectural experience
- A professional degree in architecture (B.Arch or equivalent)
- Strong working knowledge of Revit and architectural documentation workflows
- Growing technical proficiency and attention to detail
- Clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Eagerness to learn, take feedback, and assume increasing responsibility
- Architectural licensure not required for this role
