Fox Restaurant Concepts approached OMNIPLAN to design the third and biggest location of their neighborhood bistro brand, The Henry. The two-story custom-built space is located in Uptown Dallas at the Union, a new $300M dense urban development. The 15,664 SF restaurant has a full-service coffee bar, two full bars, indoor dining room, three outdoor patios, private dining room and an expo kitchen. The bottom floor is dedicated to regular seating, while the upstairs is set up for standing at tables or lounging by a fire. Designed to be an all-day destination, it'll be open long hours: breakfast, lunch, dinner, weekend brunch, and both regular and reverse happy hour.
The interiors are a fusion of industrial and classical influences, a modern ode to Gatsby-era grace. The aesthetic is inviting and approachable with warm colors, eclectic art and Texas-inspired vignettes. Materials such as richly-patterned wallpaper, warm woods, and cozy upholstered chairs adorn the space. The intimate dining room, with rich leather banquettes, entertains diners with views to the bustling expo kitchen.
