Feras Alsafi
DesignerFeras attended the University of Texas at Arlington achieving his Bachelor of Science in Architecture as a first generation college student. During his studies, he got to participate in a design build project where he had the opportunity to work with the complexities of merging both affordability and functionality in a home.
He also had the opportunity to study abroad in India where he was able to see and experience how a denser population of people are able to reinvent their own meaning of space. The commonalities of both of these experiences are some of the reasons in which he chose architecture. I believe that architecture can be the solution to many modern day issues such as: density, sustainability, affordability, and etc.
With architecture, Feras would like to make a meaningful impact on how we use space in our day-to-day lives. Although, his goals are to make a huge impact here in the states, a personal dream of his is to one day be able t o build a school in Iraq.
In his free time, some of his hobbies include: sketching, working on cars, fitness, and gardening.
