In order to create a more meaningful connection with the Oak Lawn neighborhood and to support their growing ministry needs, Park Cities Presbyterian Church (PCPC) needed to renovate and expand their campus. OMNIPLAN’s masterplan provides connectivity for the multi-site urban campus as well as a vision for new and renovated building spaces. The plan is designed to create a more welcoming and inviting campus with improved parking and outdoor community space. It also provides an enhanced ministry infrastructure.
Programming Needs
In order to serve PCPC’s growing programming needs, they have acquired several adjacent plots of land that requires extensive rezoning and permitting within Highland Park. The program calls for new larger spaces for both children, youth and adult ministries, a community lobby and grand foyer, additional space for their growing ESL outreach program, and a 210-car parking garage.
