This 488,000 SF biomedical research building is the second phase of UT Southwestern's North Campus. This eight-level laboratory building houses the Department of Molecular Biology, the Department of Microbiology and four research centers for cancer, immunology, neuroscience and human growth & development. The project's scope also included a 31,000 SF thermal energy plant, a 134,000 SF visitor parking garage and a bridge providing shuttle connection to the University Hospital on UTSWMC's West Campus.

OMNIPLAN collaborated on laboratory design with Edward Larrabee Barnes Architects in New York and Earl Walls of San Diego (now HKS Science & Technology practice).
