The Jack S. Blanton Museum of Art at the University of Texas at Austin provided the opportunity to not only create a marvelous art museum but also to create a gateway into the UT campus on its southern edge. This wonderful project serves to tie the campus to the state capitol and downtown Austin. The project was in collaboration with Kallmann, McKinnell and Woods Architects, acting as design architects. In addition, the design team included Peter Walker & Partners as the landscape architects. This collaboration produced a handsome complex that now serves to show off the Blanton Museum's world class art collection.
