The First of Five 25-Year Awards
Awarded by the AIA Dallas chapter, OMNIPLAN accepted its first 25-Year Award for Lasting Architecture in recognition of the impressive Citizens Bank Center Tower.
Uninterrupted vistas are possible on each floor thanks to the column-free space provided by its remarkable 105-foot-long precast girders. The inherent depth of these beams naturally shades the mullion-free glass from the hot Texas sun, resulting in measurably reduced energy costs.
Located along a busy freeway (U.S. 75/ N. Central Expressway), the Citizens Bank Center (now Chase Bank Center) is a bold landmark which remains a strong visual identity.
