School of Management

A new 180,000 square foot School of Management building was budgeted for The University of Texas at Dallas but school administrators knew they needed a larger facility. Thanks to Omniplan's insight into a changing construction market, the architects were able to recommend a cost-saving strategy that would allow a much larger structure on the same budget. The new 204,000 square foot building stands as a gateway to the UTD campus, and features state-of-the-art classrooms and an executive education center. Among the facility's most distinctive architectural elements are a cylindrical atrium, and a dining area with a circular skylight that uses reflective light to subtly and elegantly brighten the center of this space.
